Iliza Shlesinger

 Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born on 22nd February, 1983 is an American actress, comedian and executive producer. She was the winner of 2008's Last Comic Standing and went on to host the dating show syndicated to TBS Excused as well as the TBS game show Separation Anxiety.





 In 2017, Shlesinger hosted her own late-night talk show called Truth & Iliza on Freeform. From 2022, she has released six comedy specials for Netflix. In April of 2020, Netflix premiered her sketch comedy show The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch show.



 Iliza Vie Shlesinger was born in New York City to a Jewish family. She grew up in Dallas, Texas, where her family relocated when she was a baby. She attended Addison's Greenhill School, Texas. She was a student at the school, studying Spanish as well as being a part of the school's improv team.





 Shlesinger appeared on ComedySportz Dallas, and studied at the University of Kansas for her freshman year. She participated in Semester at Sea. She attended Emerson College in Boston. She studied film and edited. She was also part of the Jimmy's comedy sketch group Traveling All Stars.

 Shlesinger completed her college degree and then moved to Los Angeles to pursue stand up comedy. She was among the most well-known performers in the Whiteboy Comedy group of standup comedians in Los Angeles, which brought her to the stage at The Improv in Hollywood.
